About Beth Andress

Beth Andress — Digital Fraud Educator and Self-Defence Trainer based in Canada

Digital Risk & AI Governance Advisor • Co-Founder, Street Safe Self Defence

Beth Andress is a Canadian digital fraud educator, self-defence trainer, and AI governance advisor with over 15 years of experience protecting organizations and communities across Canada.

Beth Andress is a Digital Risk & AI Governance Advisor and co-founder of Street Safe Self Defence. With extensive real estate industry experience and specialized expertise in fraud prevention, digital risk mitigation, and operational safety, she works with organizations to implement structured frameworks that protect client data and reduce regulatory exposure.

Through Street Safe, Beth provides preventative governance frameworks designed to help organizations adopt emerging technologies responsibly and defensibly. Her work sits at the intersection of human behaviour and digital risk — understanding that most incidents don't begin with technical failure, but with the everyday decisions people make under pressure.

Beth is also a violence prevention educator and self-defence trainer who has spent years teaching women how to protect themselves — both physically and online. That background in personal safety informs everything she does: the belief that awareness, preparation, and clear-headed decision-making are the most effective defences we have.

Her training approach is collaborative, grounded in real-world prevention, and immediately applicable to everyday work environments. Whether she's advising a brokerage on AI guardrails or training a team to recognize social engineering, the goal is the same: practical skills that people can use right away.

Strengthening awareness and building practical guardrails across teams reduces risk before escalation occurs. When employees know what to look for — and how to respond — organizations protect their people, their funds, and the communities they serve.

Our Mission

To help organizations and communities recognize, prevent, and respond to digital fraud and emerging AI risks through practical education and responsible technology governance.

What We Know

Trusted Across Organizations Nationwide

We're grateful that organizations across the nation have trusted us to strengthen their risk reduction strategies and establish practical guardrails for their teams.

Digital fraud and financial manipulation now affect organizations of every size. Public institutions, municipalities, and businesses are increasingly targeted through everyday communication — email, phone, and messaging platforms — making awareness a critical operational priority.

Most digital incidents do not begin with technical failure — they begin with human interaction. Impersonation, urgency tactics, and social engineering are designed to exploit trust and routine decision-making, often leading to preventable financial and reputational loss.
